Leo Tang has been a dedicated illustrator for decades. He started out in 1985 as an illustrator at Echo Publishing Company, and illustrated for the Echo Encyclopedia and Echo Junior Encyclopedia. In 1988, Tang participated in illustrating for the series Children’s Taiwan, and Fairy Tale China in Pictures. He started using the pen name Tang Tang in 2003, and published the bestseller, The Short-Eared Bunny, which was followed by over 10 picture books including The Short-Eared Bunny Scores 0 Points, The Short-Eared Bunny and Sha-Sha the Elephant, etc.
He is the illustrator of popular children’s books such as Young Readers Edition of Records of the Grand Historian, Star General, Assistant Minister under the Sun, etc. Tang’s works have been selected multiple times at the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition. Recently, Tang has been creating modern pieces of art, and holding solo exhibitions, which have been widely received. His art pieces are collected by both private collectors as well as art museums.
