Jasmine Chen received a Bachelor’s degree in Plant Biology from National Taiwan University, and a Master’s degree from Oregon State University’s College of Forestry. She held the positions of senior editor at Commonwealth Publishing Company, Senior Deputy Chief Writer at Global Kids Monthly, and Editor in Chief at Global Kids Monthly Jr. She received the Good Books for Everyone Award Best Children’s Books of the Year for her book Future Citizens: Life and Technology. Chen has translated over fifty titles including Splat the Cat, Russell the Sheep series, novels such as A Simple Favor, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and the Warrior Cats series, and popular science books including The X in Sex, The Second Coming of Steve Jobs, and 18 Minutes Find Your Focus, Manage Distraction and Get the Right Things Done.
